This has been a great place the last few years with the Bears mostly winning again... ok, they were 7-9 last year but they had two late-season wins at home, one against the Pack, so I forgot what happened before that. Give yourself plenty of time to get there and get in, but once there it's hard not to have fun. The closest bar is about a mile away, so if you don't have a car just bring some beer with you and join the tailgating masses on the Waldron Deck just south of the stadium.

Once you get there it is really fun. Best advice is to make friends with someone who has a parking pass. The stadium has great views and there are reasonable tickets to be had. Like most NFL stadiums I have visited the 2nd half at Soldier Field is no place for woman and children. Food is pretty good, beer is plentiful, bathrooms move slowly. In fact, timing and patience are the two key ingredients to enjoying your day at Soldier Field.
